I’ve been an Ace Certified Personal Trainer since 2016, with advanced training/ certification in Youth Fitness, Orthopedic Exercise and Functional Fitness. This professional training, coupled with an extensive history of being an athlete myself (Div 1 College Soccer, Half Ironman Competitor, and an American Ninja Warrior) helps me provide a genuine, knowledge-based, multifaceted approach to supporting clients on their fitness journeys. Whether wanting to get back into shape after a hiatus, prepare for a local 5k, explore a long negative history with health and wellness, or simply feel better mentally and physically, I can offer space and support. My gym is perfect for those who might not feel safe in a traditional fitness setting due to gym phobia, gender dysphoria or social anxiety, Additionally, I offer a space for those who may feel more comfortable processing feeling and trauma through movement. Sometimes walking while talking is more therapeutic than simply talking!
When who you see in the mirror is not congruent with who you know you are, I can help. That being said, my focus is not only about what the scale reads, subscribing to unhealthy cultural beliefs about body weight and size, or on drastic physical changes. My belief and work stems from the fact that as you become your truest and most authentic self, you will appreciate and like who and what you see in the mirror.
